Frequently Asked Questions
At Growing Seasons Landscaping, we know property managers, facility directors, and commercial leaders often have detailed questions before choosing a landscape partner. To make things easier, we’ve gathered answers to the most common questions about our services, capabilities, and approach to client care.
General
We are one of the region’s largest privately owned commercial landscape firms. Our team is built for scale, with proven systems, in-house safety programs, and a strong track record of reliability, especially on complex, high-volume sites.
Growing Seasons Landscaping has been serving the greater Pittsburgh region for more than 20 years. Over that time, we’ve grown into one of the area’s largest privately owned commercial landscaping firms, trusted by industrial, utility, and institutional clients for reliable site care.
Every client is assigned a dedicated account manager. This single point of contact coordinates crews, oversees quality, and ensures you always know who to call. For multi-site clients, we provide centralized communication and reporting so you can manage everything in one place.
Our integrated approach allows us to offer bundled solutions under one roof — maintenance, vegetation control, erosion repair, and more — without clients needing to manage multiple contractors. This is especially valuable for industrial, utility, and institutional clients with varied property types.
We combine competitive pricing with professional-grade service tailored to complex commercial, industrial, and utility sites. Our pricing reflects the added value of experienced crews, regulatory compliance, proactive communication, and consistent quality — not just the lowest cost.
We’re rarely the lowest bidder, and that’s by design. Our clients choose us because we deliver reliability, safety, and results, not cut corners. The lowest price can often lead to costly rework or compliance issues. We focus on value: doing it right the first time, every time. Because we manage everything in-house — from vegetation control to erosion mitigation — we offer scalable, bundled services that drive cost efficiency over time.
Because we solve problems before they become headaches. Clients trust us to deliver consistent service, meet compliance standards, and communicate proactively. Over time, that reliability protects budgets, enhances site performance, and supports long-term planning.
Absolutely. We maintain full general liability, auto, umbrella, and worker’s comp coverage, and can provide COIs upon request.

For large-scale landscape installations or vegetation control plans, we recommend reaching out 8–12 weeks in advance. For standard maintenance services, new sites can typically be onboarded within a few weeks.
We begin with a site walkthrough and consultation to understand your needs and goals. From there, we build a customized scope of work, finalize contracts, schedule service, and assign a dedicated account manager.

Commercial Landscape Services
We specialize in servicing office parks, distribution centers, natural gas and utility infrastructure, solar farms, landfills, industrial plants, corporate campuses, HOAs, and commercial retail centers.
While we serve diverse markets, everything we do is rooted in a deep understanding of how to grow, manage, and maintain landscapes. Whether it’s mowing a retail center, restoring a slope with native seeding, or managing vegetation around pipelines, our work is unified by site care, plant health, and environmental performance. It’s different scopes, but the same core expertise.
Not at all. In fact, it strengthens it. Our ability to manage landscapes in multiple ways, from turf care to stormwater control, makes us better partners. Every service supports healthier grounds, better compliance, and a cleaner, safer property. It’s a broader toolbox, but all for the same goal: outdoor excellence.
Typical services include mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, seasonal cleanups, mulch installation, plant bed maintenance, and property inspections. We customize each plan to fit the client’s scope, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Visit frequency depends on your service agreement, but most properties receive weekly visits in season. Site audits and service logs ensure accountability and transparency.
Yes. We offer standalone and bundled seasonal packages for landscape bed maintenance including: spring cleanups, edging, mulching, pruning, debris removal, fall cleanups, leaf cleanup and more.
Most of our commercial landscape maintenance agreements are structured as 36-month contracts with optional renewals. We also offer seasonal or multi-year agreements tailored for long-term planning.
Longer-term contracts provide several advantages:
- Budget predictability: Fixed annual pricing makes it easier to forecast and manage year-over-year landscape expenses.
- Consistency in service: With the same dedicated teams and schedules in place, you’ll see better quality, fewer disruptions, and stronger communication over time.
- Stronger site knowledge: Our crews become more familiar with your property’s specific needs, improving efficiency and performance.
Yes. We build site-specific plans based on traffic flow, branding needs, plant material, and budget. Whether it's weekly lawn care for a retail plaza or seasonal color for an HOA, we tailor our service frequency and crew assignments accordingly.
